Description

Wednesday, March 13, 2:00 - 3:00 pm

Join Yoni K. Ashar as he explains how studies show the ways the brain reacts to placebo effects, chronic pain, meditation, and compassion using functional MRI and machine learning. His research explores how thoughts and beliefs influence health via the brain, and to create neuroimaging research products that can be used in clinical applications and can help our society.
