Event description

Description

“America hating immigrants is like a body rejecting its own blood.” -Hari Kondabolu

Let’s explore systematic oppressive behavior and beliefs through a psycho-biology lens using primarily Dr. Leticia Nieto’s developmental model, Beyond Inclusion, Beyond Empowerment: A Developmental Strategy to Liberate Everyone and Dr. Stephen Porges, Polyvagal Theory. The training will be taught through lecture, experiential guided movement exercises, small group and dyad interaction, imagery, and skill building. We will use play to deepen awareness of empowerment, accountability and liberation for all peoples.
The Trainer: Anne Phillips, LMHC, SEP: psychotherapist, consultant, and teacher for twenty years, facilitates an environment of fun while simultaneously deepening awareness of liberation and oppression. You can read more at: AnnePhillipsTherapy.com
