An all-levels generative virtual workshop with poet Marcus Lindenburg!

Learn about medieval Icelandic and Irish poetry from an expert, and use it to create works that honors your cultures and ancestors from across the world. See the medieval era through a new lens and learn about 9th -13th century writing. This workshop will look at excerpts from medieval sagas and guide writers on developing poetry based on its metrics, themes, and forms.

About the Instructor: Marcus Lindenburg is a writer based in New York City, who focuses on poetry, short stories, and personal essays. He has his MA in medieval Icelandic and Irish literature, and his MLIS in archives.
