Event description

Description

The Laser Cutter training in Protoworks is only for those who have completed a general orientation already. This training will show users how to use our Protoworks' Epilog laser cutter to cut and engrave safely. Training will include basics of making a file that the laser cutter can read, how to operate the laser cutter, and what materials are ok to cut.

Training will start at 4 PM in protoworks. Late comers will not be permitted to join. Not showing up to a training for which you are signed up will push you to the bottom of the training queue and other students will be given priority over you.

Protoworks is a space at the Martin Trust center for MIT Entrpreneurship in building E40 where MIT students are able to explore and experiment on their entrepreneurial ideas through initial physical prototyping. Protoworks builds and supports community across MIT by bridging entrepreneurship and innovation, and accelerates learning via experimentation.
