ProtoWorks is a space at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship where MIT students are able to explore and experiment on their entrepreneurial ideas through initial physical prototyping. ProtoWorks builds and supports community across MIT by bridging entrepreneurship and innovation, and accelerates learning via experimentation.
This General Orientation training is required to gain access to the space, regardless of previous machining experience. It is intended to set expectations of our specific space, provide an overview of our culture and logistics, and build community.
Training will start AT 4PM. Late comers will not be permitted to join. Not showing up to a training for which you are signed up will render you unable to become trained for the next couple months, after which you will be at the bottom of the training queue.
