Since Trump has taken the stage, the United States has been engulfed in protest and dissent, as well as a crackdown from the Trump administration and local government forces. From #NoDAPL at Standing Rock to the #J20 inauguration protests in Washington, the #BDS movement and more, journalists face threats for doing their jobs, and protesters face legal sanction for criticizing authority. This panel tackles the future of dissent in America.
