Event description

Description

An evening with leading conservationist Dr Ian Singleton, Director of the Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme (SOCP).

Ian will share fascinating insights from 20 years working on the frontline of orangutan and forest protection.

Join us to hear from Ian about why there is hope for Sumatran orangutans and their rainforest home, and learn what we can do to save the precious Leuser Ecosystem, the only place in the world where orangutans, tigers, elephants and rhinos co-exist under the same forest canopy.

The talk will be illustrated by stunning photography and film.

Staff from the Sumatran Orangutan Society will be meeting visitors in the Rainforest Biome during the afternoon.

The event is free, but please register to attend. SOCP will be accepting donations on the evening.
