Multi Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and author Shane Stanley has worked in almost every capacity on and off the set with hit shows like Entertainment Tonight and Seinfeld. Shane produced The Desperate Passage Series, which was nominated for 33 individual Emmy Awards and won 13 statues. In this series, five of the seven specials went #1 in the Nielsen Ratings, which included A Time for Life and Gridiron Gang. A Time for Life, (created by Shane), was acquired by Disney as a feature film and won the coveted Christopher Award. After an intense bidding war with four major studios, Gridiron Gang was acquired by Sony Pictures and produced into a #1 Box Office hit starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

For three years, Shane was Vice President of Sheen/Michaels Entertainment where he produced several motion pictures starring Marlon Brando, Mira Sorvino, Thomas Hayden Church, Donald Sutherland, Marisa Tomei, Sean Penn, John Travolta and of course, Charlie and Martin Sheen. During his downtime, Shane began writing and penned several episodes of Zalman King's Red Shoe Diaries, edited motion pictures and created an original television series for Jeff Segansky, former Head of CBS before producing Dream Chasers for Discovery Channel, a television adventure program filmed in several different countries in the aftermath of 9/11.

In 2006 Shane Executive Produced Gridiron Gang, the #1 Box Office hit starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson for SONY Pictures based on Stanley’s Emmy Award-winning documentary of the same title. After the picture was released, The Los Angeles Board of Supervisors honored Shane for the positive impact his work has had on society.

His book, What You Don't Learn in Film School, is available for purchase online.
