Learn about California native plant vegetative propagation with a variety of native plant specimens from the TPF gardens. Students will learn how to start and grow plants from cuttings in this hands-on session. This informative course is suitable for both professionals and anyone interested in learning propagation techniques for their home or community garden. Each participant will leave with a flat of 50 starts for their own home or community garden! All materials provided.
This class takes place indoors and outdoors. Please wear closed-toed shoes, bring water and sun-protection. Students will be asked to park on the street, Tuxford, Wheatland or Ledge and walk up to the nursery if able to.
Alejandro Lemus is the horticulturist at TPF and is an instructor for our Professional Landscaper Certification program.
