CGA's Commitment and Strategy to Promote Player Health and Wellbeing - Kick-Off Event

At the CGA, we collectively believe that gaming is a legitimate form of entertainment and a positive contributor to our communities. We also believe in continuing to promote responsible use of our industry's products.

With this in mind, we are excited to launch our Commitment and Strategy to Promote Player Health and Wellbeing, which will involve developing Responsible Gambling Guiding Principles, an Advertising and Marketing Code of Conduct, and more.

To launch this exciting initative, CGA will host the kick-off event of December 5, 2023.

Session details include:

RGC will lead a workshop on the development of guiding principles for responsible gaming for the CGA national industry Code of Conduct
New IPSOS research will be presented
The CGA has engaged Advertising Standards Canada to develop a national advertising code for gaming, and Ad Standards will outline the process for its development
