Become a Remote Host Site for the Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare’s eleventh annual Child Welfare ITV/VPC conference:

Promoting Placement Stability

April 15, 2010: 9:00am to 12:00 noon

The Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare will host the eleventh annual child welfare teleconference on April 15, 2010. If you would like to become a remote host site for the event, we invite you to register online.

Registration will be available through February 18, 2010

Becoming a Remote Host Site for the Child Welfare ITV/VPC Conference:

The teleconference will be broadcast from the Twin Cities campus using University of Minnesota facilities (not the state VPC system). Remote sites will not be interactive, but participants are encouraged to email questions throughout the program. The program will be broadcast to ITV sites in counties throughout Minnesota. In addition to ITV, the conference may be seen live through “web streaming," enabling our audience anywhere to view and participate on their computers.

Questions regarding remote site registration can be directed to Alison Frank-Quick 612-624-4231.

Additional Details about the Conference:

CASCW’s eleventh annual child welfare teleconference will be broadcast on April 15, 2010 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon from Coffman Theater, Coffman Student Union, University of Minnesota. The topic is Promoting Placement Stability.

We are pleased to feature keynote presenter Peter Pecora, Senior Director of Research Services for Casey Family Programs, and Professor, School of Social Work, University of Washington.

Following the keynote presentation, a panel of child welfare workers, who have experienced foster care placement from both a personal and professional perspective, will respond to his presentation.

We look forward in your participation with this spring's event!
