This is an Adventure of a Lifetime. 4 days/3 nights/45 miles hiking and primitive camping on the Appalachian Trail in Georgia just 70 miles above Atlanta.
We all drive our own cars/carpool and follow the leader to our start point at Amicalola Falls Georgia, the southern start point of the Appalachian Trail. We start our Adventure with our backpacks on and Great Expectations in mind. We will hike about 11 miles a day and set-up camp at a primitve site each night. Around the fire each night we will discuss the days events and what comes next.
You will see some of the Greatest Scenery you can imagine while sharing it with your friends. Everything you will need will be in your backpack which includes food, sleeping bag, water, hygiene products and etc.
The Adventure Guide David Gletty will be responsible for safety, security, guiding the group, maps, permits, tents, logistics and travel plans.
Adventure seekers are responsible for adventure fee, backpack, hiking gear, food and drink. A list of supplies is on the website below.
