Event description

Description

We want you to know that Wild Child Free School exists and that we are here to guide your Bay Area kids in the outdoors!! Check out our year round programming.

The screening of Project Wild Thing has been organized to help support Wild Child free School. We are inspired by David Bond's film and want to create more awareness about the importance of kids engaging with the outdoors!

Wild Child Freeschool thinks childhood should be fun! We support kids as they form deep connections with each other and the natural world. We seek to inspire scientific curiosity, build community, create emotional connections with nature, and empower children to recognize and pursue their individual passions. We are committed to self-directed learning and inclusive programs as a way to provide powerful life lessons in social, emotional, and educational growth for every child.

We couldn't think of a better film to highlight the benefits of getting our kids outdoors. Despite all the electronics and technology that take our attention we CAN and WILL focus more on exploring the outdoors. The benefits are exceptional and with a concerted effort we can sell this thing called NATURE! We hope this film inspires you to get outdoors and that you sign up for one of our many programs for kids and families!

A special THANK YOU to the film's director, David Bond. It has been a pleasure working with you.
