Event description
Project P.A.I.D. in Full is a three part program for high school juniors and senior students to combat student loan debt.

About this Event

100 Black Men of Greater Milwaukee seeks to serve as a beacon of leadership by utilizing diverse talents to create environments where our children are motivated to achieve and to empower our people to become self-sufficient shareholders in the economic and social fabric of greater Milwaukee. The mission of the organization is to improve the quality of life within the greater Milwaukee community and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans based on the precepts of respect for family, spirituality, justice and integrity.

These precepts are made manifest through the channels of leadership development, educations, mentoring, health & wellness, along with economic empowerment. We have concluded from information constructed through talks with area experts that there is a need to present alternatives to infinite debt.

This is why we have created, Project P.A.I.D. in Full. This project, Presenting Alternatives to Infinite Debt offers three sessions for college bound high school juniors and senior students:

Completing the FAFSA covers what the FAFSA is, why it is important for college, where it falls in the admissions process, and an overview of financial aid.

College Employment sheds light on the process of campus student employment, off-campus employment including co-op programs, and the gig economy.

Budgeting explores student loan repayment options, along with budgeting in college and after graduation with information from Ally Walletwise.
