On December 5, 1933, at 5:32PM, Utah officially became the 36th state to ratify the 21st Constitutional Amendment which repealed the 18th Constitutional Amendment prohibiting alcohol. That established the requisite three-fourths majority of states' approval thus repealing the 18th Amendment country wide. Prohibition had officially ended and the 13 year ban on alcohol had finally been lifted!
So, on Friday, December 9th, 2015, Olney Winery wants to celebrate Prohibition Repeal!
We'll be transforming our tasting room into a 1920's Speakeasy, that you'll even need a password to get into! (We will be send out the password to all those who register for the event)
