We invite you to be a sponsor or attendee of our exciting event, the 21st Annual Progressive Dinner. This event supports agricultural education in Santa Cruz County and the Pajaro Valley. The Progressive Dinner is held at three unique agriculture “sites” and includes a raffle as well as silent and live auctions. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017.
Agri-Culture is an educational organization. Our purpose is to educate the public about agriculture in Santa Cruz County and the Pajaro Valley. Our best known educational program is titled “Focus Agriculture.” We select 20 high-profile community leaders for a nine month course about all aspects of farming in this area. It is a first in the nation program and won a prestigious national award. We also produce videos about local agriculture. These videos are provided to libraries and schools. One of our videos also won a national award. Our programs for school children are varied, such as poster and poetry contests. We provide scholarships to students majoring in an agriculture–related field.
