About this Event
Please join us as we highlight 26 years of the Purple Silk Music Education Foundation and the Great Wall Youth Orchestra. This is a virtual free concert showcasing who we are, what we do, where we’ve been! Come meet our coaches, our students and delight in our performances!
Our concert will be emceed by Maestro Michael Morgan of the Oakland Symphony with a guest appearance from our Purple Silk alumnus, Strauss Shi, performing a virtuoso piece from George Bizet’s Carmen Fantasy.
