Description

STEM Learning Labs - Programming for Artists – LEDs, Sensors, and Motors

STEMPaths offers Programming for Artists – LEDs, Sensors, and Motors

Bring your art to life! With this class you will learn the basic electronics and Arduino programming required to add programmable LEDs, sensors, and motors to your projects. Through a hands-on project built in our lab, you will create an interactive art piece that senses movement and responds with changes in light and movement.

Through hands-on projects you will also learn best practices for the life-long learning, collaborative knowledge sharing, and innovation exemplified by the maker culture for children ages 8 - 13.

Housed in our Learning Labs, students will experience Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through fun and engaging projects and developmentally appropriate activities. Our programs foster creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration while building self-esteem and confidence in the STEM subjects.
