Description

STEM Learning Labs - Programming Electronics with Arduino Part 1 and Part 2

STEMPaths offers Programming Electronics with Arduino Part 1 and Part 2

Programmable microcontrollers have transformed how we can make things sense their environments and respond with sound, lighting, and movement. With this class you will learn the basic electronics and programming skills required to embed interactivity into your projects using Arduino microcontrollers. We will use hands-on projects in the lab to bring your ideas to life.

Through hands-on projects you will also learn best practices for the life-long learning, collaborative knowledge sharing, and innovation exemplified by the maker culture for children ages 8 - 13.

Housed in our Learning Labs, students will experience Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through fun and engaging projects and developmentally appropriate activities. Our programs foster creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration while building self-esteem and confidence in the STEM subjects.

Session: Pre-registration

Class Options:

Part 1: basic electronics and intro to programming - 4 Session - 3 hours each

Part 2: More programming working with different sensors, LEDs, motors - 4 Session - 3 hours each (pre-requisite is Part 1)
