Event description

2nd Hello Barcelona ACM-ICPC Bootcamp in collaboration with Moscow Workshops ACM-ICPC

For the second time this year Harbour.Space University, in collaboration with Moscow Workshops ACM-ICPC, ITMO University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and Codeforces is bringing the best training and coaches to Barcelona to prepare 150 students for winning medals in the next ACM-ICPC World Finals.

It was extraordinary to see the entire cultural spectrum meet in common love of programming and learning when we organised the first boot camp in February, and this autumn, we will be doing it again.

This time our boot camp will feature the all-time greats Andrey Stankevich and Mike Mirzayanov, along with legends Michael Tikhomirov, Artem Vasilyev, Oleg Khristenko, and Gleb Evstropov to train the participants, all of whom will be using their training to compete for a number of prizes and internships.

The Hello Barcelona boot camp will be a whirlwind of activities. Expect the most challenging problems, surprise guests and speakers, a branded hackathon, and finally the online round held on Codeforces, so everyone can join the onsite participants, at the finale of the event.

During the nine days of the event from the Sept 27th to the Oct 5th, 2017 teams will be participating in practice contests, problem discussion sessions and lectures.

Our mission is to make competitive programming accessible to everyone. To help us achieve this mission, we are making our boot camp available to teams of different skill levels – separated by two divisions of difficulty.

Division A

Designed to prepare students to participate and win medals in the next ACM-ICPC World Finals.

A large number of teams that participated in Moscow workshops later became ACM-ICPC Finalists and even won medals - to be specific, 8 out of 12 prize-winners of the ACM-ICPC World Finals 2017 participated in Moscow ACM-ICPC Workshops!

Division B

Designed to help teams prepare for the next season of ACM-ICPC regional and international competitions.

Appropriate as introduction for teams and students new to the world of ACM-ICPC and competitive programming competitions in general.
