You are invited to the Programmatic Assessment Masterclass, where we will explore programmatic assessment solutions, evidence and implementation in a variety of medical education contexts. Held on Tuesday, 7 November 2017, the masterclass will include presentations from world-leading researchers and advocates in programmatic assessment followed by questions, case studies and small group discussions.

How has programmatic assessment (FOR learning and OF learning) evolved from testing, competencies, EPAs and what is the natural development?

Presenter: Prof Cees van der Vleuten

What problems does programmatic assessment solve and what is the evidence that it does?

Presenter: Prof Lamber Schuwirth

Exploring the issues affecting the implementation of programmatic assessment in a structure environment (such as medical school) and an unstructured environment (such as GP training).

Presenters Ms Christine Cook and Assoc Prof Jill Benson AM

WAGPET is the sole provider of the Australian General Practice Training Program for GP registrars in Western Australia and one of nine Regional Training Organisations (RTOs) in Australia engaged by the national training coordinator, the Department of Health.
