Event Details

This class is centered on the key tools and techniques that allow the participants to analyze business processes in a way that identifies and helps to remove the root-causes of process variation and process waste. Businesses that understand the path from good to great understand that greater predictability and higher throughout are the true enablers to raising business profitability and establishing a competitive differentiation. This session is based on the Six Sigma tools that propelled GE to their record profits and the Learn tools that are the foundation of the Toyota production system. Our program brings the most valuable set of these principles to real-world application and hands-on simulation that you can apply immediately to your process.

Class summary:

In this class we dedicate a full day (9 hours) to our participants, and provide our preferred text book that all attendees can take home to keep. We will thoroughly go through topics, answering questions and practicing your newly attained skills with exercises. We start our course in the morning, take a lunch break, and then finish by the afternoon. A boxed lunch is provided for our participants.

You will leave this session with:

1. A keen understanding of how to measure variation & wastes.

A problem well defined is a problem half solved. We will teach you how to qualify and quantify business performance opportunities in ways that resonate with your financial statements.

2. Examples of implementation roadmaps for you to follow.

The art of knowing the next phase of a deployment keeps the entire team headed in the right direction. When to use certain road maps will clear your head from the clutter!

3. A new level of recognition with a Lean Sigma White Belt certificate.

There is no denying the benefits of certification and the recognition of knowing the methods used at Allied Signal and Motorola. This will be a great career and/or resume builder.

4. The ability to begin to apply these measures to your processes.

We’ll cover setting a baseline and tar- get state for the critical measures of your business and building the business dashboard that keeps the focus of the management team on doing things right.

5. Appreciation for the spirit & mean- ing of “Continuous Improvement.”

How to build meaning and purpose into every deployment. See and in- crease in efficiency that makes great resources draw to your leadership style and enable successes for your business.
