2) Day 2: Value-Based Price Setting/Forecasting

Setting the correct value based price takes into account a variety of objective and subjective measures. Here are some of the items we will cover to help you determine what your product/service is worth. You will:

  • Determine your value (what makes you great)
  • What is the vision of your brand
  • What will be needed to invest into the brand
  • Determine profit goals
  • Forecasting


3) Day 3: Selling Value Not Price
Date: Nov. 14th, 2017 - 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm PDT

Customers are willing to pay for a brand. They buy commodities on price. So to effectively sell what you’re worth, you need to communicate the strength of your brand. If you sell on price, you’re telling the customer you’re a commodity. Once you’ve determined your value-based price, it is now time to:

  • Target the right customer
  • Create a clear brand statement that will resonate to your target customers
  • Choose the right marketing approach
  • How much money/time to spend in marketing


Many people attend traditional business workshops as a simple presentation, walking away with some new information and concepts, with no real action items to follow through. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in business-marketing from San Jose State University in 1993, he has spent the last 20 years in sales and marketing for corporations such as Coca-Cola, Novartis Pharmaceutical, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Over the length of his career, he has enjoyed great success with numerous regional and national awards for sales and marketing success.

After thinking about his strengths and passion, he realized it would be a natural transition to be a marketing consultant for both for-profit and non-profits organizations. His education and experience has positioned him to bring big thinking strategy and implementation to organizations of any size.
