Kara Juszczak, LCSWR, co-owner of Tree of Hope Counseling will facilitate this session.

Kara has worked as a clinical social worker since 2011, interacting with multiple systems and exploring many ethical dilemmas as co-owner of Tree of Hope Counseling and a clinical supervisor. Kara is an experienced trainer on multiple topics.

In this workshop, clinical and practice ethics will be explored. With more challenging individuals and access to technology, ethical dilemmas often present. By being aware of ethical boundaries, we can grow our work within the changing world and still maintain the integrity of our profession.

Learning Objectives:

- Participants will explore ethical dilemmas and issues within the mental health field.

- Participants will learn the boundaries of technology within mental health care.

- Participants will self-assess and make a plan for maintaining ethical practices for their work.

Tree of Hope Counseling, LCSW, PLLC, is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #SW-0322.

This course is 3 (three) contact hours for SW and LMHC

Fee for course is $70.00

Registration available until 5:00pm Friday 3/15/19.
