Why: To help you learn about negotiation skills! The Pick Group’s Professional Development Committee (PDC) is proud to announce the first in a series of professional development workshops “Negotiations.”
As young professionals, we negotiate every day, whether it is with customers, co-workers, business associates and family. Negotiations are part of our daily interactions.
The negotiation workshop is designed for all areas and levels of professions to help you understand the importance of these valuable skills in business.
Negotiations will be presented by Dr. Rami Zwick, professor of Marketing and Associate Dean at University of California, Riverside. Dr. Rami Zwick joined UC Riverside's School of Business Administration after serving on the faculty as associate dean and director of the Ph.D. program at the School of Business at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He has also served as the director of the Center for Experimental Business Research at HKUST. He has previously served as a member of the faculty at Carnegie Mellon University, University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania State University, and the University of Auckland. Professor Zwick holds a B.A. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an M.A. from the University of Haifa, and a Ph.D. in quantitative psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research interests include consumer behavior, experimental and behavioral economics, negotiation and auctions, and neuroeconomics and neuromarketing.
