Description

Montoux and Deloitte invite you to join us for our final Shifting Gears event of 2018, which will be a half-day seminar in Sydney. This year we have had a firm focus on the customer, with our previous seminar exploring customer engagement and retention across other financial services. This time we are taking a hands-on approach, considering disability income products, collaborating on human centric design exercises, and exploring outcomes from the Royal Commission. We are excited to be joined by a range of speakers and facilitators including -

  • Rachel Kerrigan
  • Dr. Deen Sanders OAM
  • Robin Scarborough

Attendance of this seminar is free, however tickets are very limited - please ensure you register now so you don't miss out!

We are honoured to be joined by RAAF veteran, and Australian Invictus Games athlete Rachel Kerrigan. Rachel was medically discharged from the Air Force after suffering a stroke and being diagnosed with severe PTSD, then later battled uterine cancer. Rachel will be opening the seminar, by speaking about her journey of finding ways to manage her diagnoses through sport and exercise, and sharing her perspectives on how assistance could be improved for people with disabilities or serious health conditions.

Dr. Deen Sanders OAM is a Partner with Deloitte in the Governance, Risk and Conduct group, and is recognised as a global leader in the fields of Ethics, Trust and Regulation and their complex link to behaviour and conduct. Deen was previously CEO of The Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority, and has worked on every side of the business dynamic, across commercial, government, professional association, consultant and regulatory. Deen was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in 2017 for his leading academic and regulatory work in the field of professional standards. Deen will be speaking about outcomes from the Royal Commission, sharing perspectives of the financial planning industry.

Deloitte's Robin Scarborough will lead a workshop session exploring human centred design.
