Guest Speaker Bio: Having grown up in the high volume manufacturing industries, Gary Ainsworth is known as a “breakthrough guy” for his ability to manage and create processes for cost-effective, sustainable manufacturing. His product development and manufacturing engineering, and operations expertise was developed in the disk drive, photonic, color printer, and gas turbine component industries where he gained experience with Digital Equipment Corporation, Tektronix (Xerox), Quantum/Maxtor Corporation, Lasertron (Corning) and a variety of client companies. Gary is the president of Arc Completa, Inc., a consulting firm that works with large and small companies with commercialization of emerging technologies, as well as with operations and design community performance improvement. Mr. Ainsworth also serves as a New Venture Fellow at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
