Over the past two years, Leadership Network has been breaking ground in presenting on-line events to the church leader community. Last year, over 35,000 church leaders participated in the latest installment of "THE NINES".
Over that short period of time, we've learned a lot about what it take to attract and audience and produce and online conference. We've also learned some valuable things that don't work.
We've received a good number of requests for information on what we've learned, so we decided to package all of this information into a one-day learning session. Here's how it will work:
Bring up to three members from your team, and we'll share with you how we do it. From everything to how to decide topics and themes, to implementing social media, to inviting speakers, to pre-production, to software we use to deliver our online conferences. We'll also give you some time during the day to brainstorm with your team and to develop your plans for your own online event.
It all happens on Thursday, May 19 in Dallas, TX at our Leadership Network offices.
As an added bonus... come a day early and watch live as we produce our latest online event, "Staff Infection". (More information at StaffInfection.tv. See how we do it... live... first-hand.
Here's a list of the topics we'll discuss:
1. Why do an online conference?
2. Counting the cost (time/money/energy)
3. Marketing your event
4. Implementing social media
5. Free vs. Paid registrations
6. Registration solutions
7. Deciding on a theme/concept for your event
8. Choosing and inviting speakers
9. Gathering content for your event
10. Printed Materials to add value to your event
11. Setting up the broadcast
12. Technologies we use that make life easier
13. Website development
14. Simplifying project management for your online event
15. Plus, we'll answer YOUR questions!
This will be a small group... with sufficient time given to learning from others and collaboration of ideas and events.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to you joining us!
Leadership Network was created in 1984 from the close collaboration between Bob Buford and Peter Drucker to foster innovative movements among churches that active the broader church for greater impact.
Believing that meaningful conversations and connections can change the world, Leadership Network seeks to help leaders of innovation navigate the future by exploring new ideas together to find application to their own unique contexts. Through collaborative meetings and processes these leaders map future possibilities and challenge one another to action that leads to results.
Through our gatherings, publications, books and online experiences we share the learnings and inspiration to others and surface new conversations worthy of exploration.
Leadership Network is a Dallas, Texas, based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Its global ministry includes programs around the world.
