The Definition of Tomorrow

Do you spend your work days on a computer?

Do you end the day with more than 20 browser tabs open?

Do you occasionally find yourself waking up from a stupor of browsing Facebook?

Do you ever feel frustrated or guilty over procrastination?

If you’re like us and aren’t willing to pull the plug on digital connectedness, it might be time to develop some healthy habits and emotions around procrastination.

In this three hour workshop you’ll:

- Experience what it’s like to find your focus even when you’re feeling resistant to the task at hand

- Reframe your attitude about and relationship with procrastination

- Create a plan for how to make changes to your environment that support less procrastination

Saturday, Feb. 22 is the start to a new relationship with your workdays. You’ll face Monday with a new set of tools. (And those who want to can continue the conversation online -- which will be a totally valid way to procrastinate, we promise.)

Who we are:

Maria Molfino is a behavior designer and wellness coach. She has taught hundreds of people stress-management workshops through the Stanford Medical School. She has a Masters from Stanford in Learning, Design, and Technology.

Juliette Melton is a Design Lead at IDEO who focuses on how people relate to technology (and how technology relates to people). She has a Masters from Harvard in Technology, Innovation & Education.

What we’ll provide:

We’ll have some great snacks and tea, and all materials required for the workshop. The Designer Fund studio is a gorgeous and peaceful space, and a great place to spend a winter afternoon.

What we ask from you:

We are asking for a $20 participation fee. Please bring your phone, laptop, or whatever device you love to waste time with.
