Description

Sign in begins at 7:45 AM. This training begins at 8 AM and will run until 5 PM. As this is an all-day event and there is not a cafeteria on site, please bring your own lunch/snacks.

The ability to sell energy efficiency upgrades to a homeowner is driven by educating the homeowner on how the upgrades will benefit them in a way they can understand. This course will develop the skills needed to encourage the homeowner to take action and upgrade their homes with multiple energy efficient improvements. This training provides tactics for sales, customer service, and retention from the first point of contact through to completion and follow-up of the Home Performance project.

As a result of this training, Trade Allies should better understand a customer's perspective, and be able to begin developing the ability to communicate with and educate customers during an estimate. Trade Allies should begin to develop successful intake and sales communication skills to engage and retain customers, therefore increasing conversion rates from calls to estimates to contracts.
