Description

How are businesses contributing to cities’ pledges to reduce greenhouse gas emissions? How can you as a business leader start taking action? Join the webinar to learn more and speak with city officials and climate leaders from Boston and Denver.

Featuring: Cutler Cleveland of Carbon Free Boston and Professor of Earth and Environment at Boston University, Alisha Pegan, the Climate Ready Boston Coordinator in the City's Office of Environment, Energy and Open Space, and Jerry Tinianow, Chief Sustainability Officer of the City of Denver.

Big-city pledges to cut greenhouse gas emissions are becoming more and more common. What is the overall contribution cities are making to combat climate change? How is the accounting done? Can we compare cities with each other? What is the role businesses will play? Estimates show that 40% of Boston’s greenhouse gas emissions come from as few as 50,000 residential and small commercial buildings. Join our call to learn about the important role cities play in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and gain knowledge on the actions they can take to reduce emissions.
