Description

Private Equity: The First 100 Days

As business owners contemplate using private equity (PE) for capital expansion, recapitalization or funding an exit, it is important for them to know what they’re willing to give up in exchange for that investment. It may mean giving up total control, or having a strong minority partner. The PE firm will, at a minimum, have board representation, and possibly insert management team members. In this interactive panel discussion, principals from three Private Equity Groups (PEGs) will discuss what owners can expect to happen when using PE investments, and, specifically, what to expect in during the first 100 days after funding.

Learning Objectives:

  • How each of the represented PEGs select their investments.
  • What owners can expect to happen within the first 100 days of a private equity investment in their company.
  • How each of the represented PEGs works with various advisors in the process, specifically during the first 100 days.
