Event description
Mozilla and the Internet Freedom Foundation invite you to Privacy Supreme in celebration of the anniversary of the Right to Privacy.

About this Event

24 August 2019 marks the second anniversary of the Indian Supreme Court’s landmark judgement in KS Puttaswamy v. Union of India. While the 9 judge bench in Puttaswamy unanimously held that privacy was a fundamental right under the Indian Constitution, the true legacy of the case will be determined by how it holds up against the State’s litany of claims about national security and the greater good.

On this occasion, Mozilla and the Internet Freedom Foundation invite you to join us at the India International Centre at 6:30 PM on 24 August 2019 to both celebrate and critically appraise this watershed moment in Indian constitutional history and discuss the way forward.

We would be delighted if you could join us for the event and we also have some exciting goodies for the attendees. There are a limited number of seats for the event, so hurry up and register!
