VA Privacy Service is hosting an interactive virtual symposium on Wednesday, September 18 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. ET and Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. ET. Experts will explore privacy’s significance in safeguarding personal data in an evolving technical landscape. The Privacy Matters Symposium will feature a dynamic exploration of privacy and data protection in the age of digital health care. Panelists will discuss privacy in the context of VA’s application of innovative technologies and ground-breaking research.

Continuing Education Credits

Attendees are eligible to receive 2.5 Continuing Privacy Education credits from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), Information Systems Audit and Control (ISACA), and International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2. VA employees are also eligible to receive 2.5 Talent Management System credits for attending each day.
