Description

Experiment with linocut printmaking inspired by the work of Elizabeth Catlett and Hale Woodruff included in the current exhibition, Reflections: African American Life from the Myrna Colley-Lee Collection. Participants will have the opportunity create a design, then transfer it to linoleum for cutting and printing.

The workshop will consist of TWO 2.5 hour sessions (Thursday, September 14 from 6–8:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 17 from 1–3:30 p.m.). All skill levels welcome, advance registration required. Limited to 18 participants.
