This session introduces participants to common language around Culturally Responsive Education to begin the process of recognizing institutional and organizational structures in schools that perpetuate inequities. Further, participants will be able to reflect on personal assumptions about students, families, and communities in order to recognize the importance of how culturally responsive education impacts disproportionate student outcomes.
