Ever wanted to change the world you live in? (or at least a map of it)

Prince George has a bunch of great trails but hardly any are on Google Maps! Boo!

We want to change that. Through the Google Map Maker framework, community members, like us can add features to the Google base map!

On the 6th Decemeber at 6pm we will be holding a "MapUp" at the tourism PG office in the Via Rail Building. A "MapUp" is an event that helps a group of community members (that's the 'you' bit) get up to speed on how to use the Google map Makers tools so we can highlight the recreational mecca we live in (and help us find our way around better).

You do not have to be an expert map person to come, but we would ask you bring your own computer.

We will train you up in the map maker tools, in the mean time here is some more info:
