The Second Annual Health Conference in Nashua, NH is being held on July 17, 2017.

Prevention Convention: Get the Edge

Overcoming challenges for a healthier community

An exciting evening program features two key note speakers:

Wendy Wright, MS, ANP-BC adult and family nurse practitioner and owner of two, nurse practitioner owned and operated clinics in New Hampshire. She'll present on Immunizations 2017 - A focus on Hepatitis A, B, and HPV.

And, Alexander Granok, MD, who practices wtih Infectious Disease Associates in Merrimack, and has been associated with the Nashua Department of Health and Community Services since 2002 when he was appointed to the Board of Health. He'll address the Current State of Hepatitis C Treatment.

In addtion a lively panel discussion will follow, focused on Substance Use Disorder.

As a result of attending this program, you will be able to ...

  • Describe risk factors for preventable viral infections, including Hepatitis, HIV, and HPV.

  • Discuss strategies that can help to address behavioral health with the goal of improving the overall health of the community.

  • Identify the challenges of Substance Use Disorder and emerging prevention efforts.

A minimum of 1.5 CE credits will be offered.

The fee is $ 20.00 for dinner and program materials. Payments may be made by credit card (MC or VISA only) or check at registration time. Checks are made payable to SNH AHEC.
