Preventing the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Girls: A Training for Facilitators on Using the My Life My Choice Curriculum
The My Life My Choice Curriculum is a survivor-led, ten-session girl-centered program created to develop and strengthen your efforts to halt the disturbing wave of commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking in the United States. Created in 2002, the MLMC Curriculum is used in schools, group homes, juvenile justice facilities, and community based agencies. There are currently trained facilitators in over 29 states and Canada.

Prerequisite: Participants must have had prior training on understanding and responding to Victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation
Participants will have the opportunity to:
• Understand the research base behind the My Life My Choice Curriculum
• Learn how to use the curriculum to run psycho-educational groups with vulnerable girls in a variety of settings
• Explore potential challenges that may arise during the group
All participants receive a copy of the My Life My Choice curriculum and a one year membership to the My Life My Choice Online Community, a forum to provide resources and support to prevention group facilitators
