Preventing Scams, Fraud & Deceit
in Your International Business
NIU - Rockford
SEPTEMBER 24, 2013
From vetting unsolicited sales inquiries, to the theft of intellectual property and the illegal purchase of controlled technologies, international scams, fraud & deceit are increasing with new and more sophisticated schemes. And if your product is good, somebody somewhere is probably going to try to copy it, or at least apply your brand name to their counterfeit goods. You also need to watch who you do business with - including your distributor, OEM manufacturer, and others. Starting off on the right foot will save time, money, anguish, and sometimes even your shirt. Hear Louise Kern, Managing Director of GloBIS - Global Business Information Services, Inc. speak on how to avoid risk in your successful, IP protected, global business expansion.
