Prevailing Wage Step by Step Seminar - FREE

This FREE seminar will take place Friday, January 13th, from 8:00am - noon.

ABC invites you and your guests to join us for an informative and hands on Labor Compliance training class This class will focus on the critical steps needed to ensure your firm, and your subcontractors are meeting the requirements on public works projects. This class will take the participants through a step by step explanation of the requirements and forms on state and federally funded projects. Participants will learn when and how to fill out the forms, determine the correct wages and meet the apprenticeship requirements.
Some topics covered include:
- What to do once a project is awarded?
- How to search for critical project information
- How to determine the correct scope, classification, wages and applicable increases
- What forms are required, how to fill them out, and when to submit?
- What are your responsibilities during the project?
- ECPR and the DLSE’s current role in LCP
- What do I do if I am found in violation, what are the applicable penalties?
Join industry experts Karen Belcher, DAS Senior Consultant, and Marty Glaske, VP of Labor Relations at Gafcon as they engage in an interactive and engaging discussion through the steps needed to be successful. This course is recommended for all entry level payroll and LCP administrators, but would be beneficial for anyone looking to strengthen their understanding of the Labor Compliance process and requirements.
Class parking is located in the lot behind the building. If the gate (to the right of the building) is open, please park in back.
This seminar will take place in ABC's Multipurpose Room. You can enter through the double doors at the right-hand corner of the building.
