Event Details

Sample some of Boston's best craft brews with Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project while you enjoy music by local indie bands.

Based out of Somerville, Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project is a small local brand with a big presence in Boston's craft beer scene. Try seasonal favorites selected by the brewers themselves while you relax in the shade and enjoy music by two local indie/Americana bands- The Sea The Sea (http://theseathesea.com/) and Amy Correia with Kimon Kirk (http://www.amycorreia.com/).

This event takes place at historic Fort Warren on Georges Island. After the event, don't forget to explore the fort's dark tunnels and beautiful stone ramparts!

Freshly-made, picnic-friendly foods are available for purchase from Rita's Catering.

Ticket price includes concert and four samples of Pretty Things Beer and Ale. To purchase ferry tickets from Long Wharf or the Hingham Shipyard, visit Boston Harbor Cruises at http://bostonharborcruises.com/harbor-islands/

Boston Harbor Island Alliance

Founded in 1996, The Boston Harbor Island Alliance (BHIA) is the non-profit partner of the Boston Harbor Islands National Park. Legislated to raise private funds in a predictable and sustainable way, we invest in the creation of new park facilities, produce fun and educational public events, and provide free park access to deserving children and families.

Our mission has 3 areas of focus: awarenessaccess, and attractions. Raising awareness of the magnificent resource at their fingertips is the first step in educating the public and drawing them to their local national park. Ensuring reliable, convenient, and safe access to the islands via public ferries is the next major step. Providing attractions for people to enjoy when they reach the park is essential to visitor satisfaction and return visits.
