Pretty, Funny Women (PFW) started in 1995 as the first ever showcase for some of the hottest up and coming female comics in LA. It was created by Lisa Sundstedt AKA the Madame of Comedy and is now the longest running all female comedy show in the world.

Lisa started and ran the "Pretty, Funny Women Show" at the Hollywood Improv for over ten years. Some of the regular comics she had on her shows included Sheri Shepeherd, Chelsea Handler, Tig Notaro, Retta, Natasha Leggero, Maria Bamford, Sarah Tiana, Vicki Barbalak, and Heather McDonald.

PFW held shows all over LA pre-pandemic and has continued to bring the joy, laughter, and good times through Zoom during quarantine and we can't wait to see you at the show (hopefully not in your undies)!
