Description

Give yourself permission to press pause, recharge and reconnect on this one day mindfulness based retreat. Take the time to explore mindfulness practices with a small group of people and led by an experienced and qualified mindfulness teacher. The stunning setting in the Perthshire countryside is the perfect location to switch off from the busy-ness of everyday life and allow your mind and body to settle.

Our day begins at 9.45am with homebaking, tea and coffee and an opportunity to relax into the environment. We then move into the cosy barn to begin our day of mindfulness practice which includes sitting practices, body scan and movement practices. All of our practice time is done in silence which gives you the opportunity to fully drop into your practice and let the mind settle.

At around 12.30pm lunch is served which consists of more delicious food. All of the food is prepared and cooked by Keesje, the owner of Burmieston farm where the retreat takes place. As far as possible the ingredients are all natural and grown on site. Lunch is vegetarian but if you have any other dietary requirements please make that known by replying to your confirmation email.

After lunch there is some time to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Then the afternoon continues with more mindfulness based practices. We come out of silence around 3pm to allow the opportunity to share reflections with the group before we finish at 4pm.
