About this event
In this fun class you’ll learn the difference between canned and fresh/refrigerator pickles, discuss brine making and classic (and non-classic!) spice additions, watch a demo a few different types of veggie and fruit pickling, and make your own jar of fresh pickles to take home! We will also have a pickle tasting and demonstrate and discuss great ways to use fresh pickles. Pickle lovers unite!
This class is taught by award-winning local pickle maker Stephanie McClenny, of award winning preserving company, confituras.
