About this Event

Community Meeting: Preserving Affordability in East Garfield Park for Existing Residents

East Garfield Park residents and small business owners have a role to play — today — in shaping the future of their neighborhood. That’s why community groups joined with residents to resist displacement and preserve affordability through this data-driven and community-centered planning process. If you’re interested in affordability, preservation, and homeownership, we welcome you to attend.

This will be the second community meeting in our process. At this meeting, we will share updates on progress made so far in developing a shared vision and goals for preserving affordability. We will also discuss potential recommendations. Thank you those who attended our first community meeting on July 23rd. You can read a summary of that meeting here.

Snacks and a kids’ activity table will be provided at the meeting. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. We look forward to having you join the conversation!
