Event description

Description

The Zentangle© Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.

“Tangling” increases focus and creativity, provides artistic satisfaction, and enhances one’s sense of personal well-being. Zentangle is enjoyed all over this world across a wide range of skills, interests, and ages.

Session facilitator Phyllis Yigdall is a graduate of HopeWorks’ Telling This Truth program and a member of the HopeWorks Speakers Bureau. Phyllis has been involved in artistic endeavors since childhood. She is active in both visual and performing arts – both as creator and supporter of others. Favorite mediums include pen & ink, watercolor, and photography. Phyllis has also worked in stained glass, wood, and clay. She became a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) in 2017.

About Preservation: the Survivor’s Circle

Survivors, who are well out of crisis, are invited to attend Preservation Circle sessions, where through engaging and creative activities we cultivate continued courage, self-compassion, connection and advocacy.

Please note that Preservation Circle is an educational/wellness program, and is not intended to replace or to be a substitute for clinical therapies.

This program is free but registration is required.
