Event description

Description

The City of Forest Hills hosts a community meeting Wednesday, January 24, at 5 p.m. to promote the plan for Aaittafama’ Archaeological Park, a Native American village located on Hillsboro Pike and Old Hickory Boulevard directly across the street from Forest Hills City Hall.

Ridley Wills III will explore with residents the history of the ruins of an incredible historic find dating from the mid-1400s, which is the largest late-prehistoric town remaining in Davidson County and one of the few intact towns of this era in the region.

The meeting is free and open to the public at Forest Hills City Hall, 6300 Hillsboro Pike.
