Preparing Students for Success on the 2014 GED

Tuesday, March 11, 4:00 - 5:30 PM EST

1:00-2:30 PM PT, 2:00-3:30 PM MT, 3:00-4:30 PM CT, 4:00-5:30 PM ET

Description:

The new high school equivalency tests in 2014 are keeping most adult education programs full of questions. Educators are wondering what they need to do different, what types of new materials will be needed, and basic tips on how to reset thinking - both for students and instructors. Join this session with Tonya Crum to get the answers you need and see examples of how new materials, with built-in adaptations for special learning needs, will help guide you and the students you serve to success on the 2014 GED® test.

This session will:
• Discuss the major areas of change in the 2014 GED both in content and test administration
• Tips for how to 'rethink' the new testing for both educators and students
• Offer examples of how preparing students for the new testing can be done with new materials
• See the types of adaptations that can be useful for students with special learning needs
