Life Science: Introduction to Genetics & Heredity
Current forms of the TASC test increase the emphasis on Life Sciences, which now comprises half of the science test. This session will provide an introduction to the fundamental concepts and mechanics of genetics and heredity. Participants will experience a lesson related to DNA, chromosomes, genes and heritable traits within families, then reflect on strategies for generating interest in learning science.
